Hi everyone! Two weekends ago I went on a little day trip to New York City. NYC used to seem so big and intimidating, but this time I felt like I fit right in. There’s just nothing quite like a walk through Central Park, or down Fifth Avenue. Of course, the day wouldn’t have been the same without the right outfit. I paired my new Lauren James scalloped hem poplin shorts with an Abercrombie & Fitch tank top (that I have had for a while), my staple pearl statement necklace, and an L.L.Bean sweater just in case it got chilly. I cannot get over how great Lauren James clothes are. I usually snag my finds during the Pink Friday Sale when there are such great deals on the whole store (it’s typically in July, and you cannot miss it). Well New York…I will be back. Maybe even for a whole summer…2018 perhaps?
