I haven’t posted in a while, and let’s just say a lot has changed since the last time I updated you guys. In May, when my world was turned upside down, I met a man. And it went just like a story book: girl meets boy, girl and boy fall in love. So you guys, I have the most amazing boyfriend, my literal soulmate…and we live together! All in the matter of months, but when you know, you know. So here we are, almost 4 months in, living together. I’ll share a post on our story, because it was basically destiny (and Hinge) that we met each other. As nice as it is living where we are, he lived here for a while before we met, and it’s a bit of a bachelor pad. So, at the end of September, we are moving into my mom’s condo in the same complex (I know, I told you guys it was destiny- you just wait). My mom is moving to Charleston, South Carolina, and offered to rent to us! I can’t wait to make our new place a home, and have a fresh start…a new normal, as I used to say.
In other news, I am not unemployed anymore! I got my Maine real estate license, and I am officially a real estate agent. In addition to that, I have a full time job as a medical device territory manager. I went from accounting to sales…which I believe is the perfect fit for me. Everything is falling into place, and I just love the direction my life is headed in…I’ve never been happier. I am such a busy bee already, but it’s so worth it…I thrive when I’m busy. I get to be back in my hometown and spend time with some of my best friends, make some new friends along the way, and spend time with family. I was pretty discouraged in one of my last posts after I lost my job, but I am here, months later, wishing I could tell that girl that life is about to get so good.
I can’t wait to share more with you guys…tell you more about Dylan and our story so far, our move, and my career. Life is good.
