Well, the secret is out and I couldn’t be more excited to finally be able to talk about it: these two pups are going to be big sisters to a human little sister! It’s our last Christmas without a little girl forever in our lives, so we are going to focus on spending quality time together and giving our pups some extra attention that they’ll be losing in a few months.
This Christmas is definitely going to be a strange one because of COVID, and I’m bummed because I was looking forward to traveling to South Carolina to visit my mom. It’s the first time we’re spending Christmas without each other, and hopefully our last. It’s also my first Christmas with Dylan, and he is totally Christmas obsessed. Anything we buy for ourselves in the month of December, whether we need it before the end of the month or not, he wraps and puts under the tree…hence the giant wrapped ironing board behind me in the pictures, and not pictured are baking sheets, spatulas, an iron, and salt and pepper grinders. It’s hilarious.
Now, let’s talk about Dunkin’s exciting December drink: the Sugarplum Macchiato. Now I have to admit that I did quit caffeine when I found out I was pregnant in October, and just recently started drinking decaf coffee on occasion, but I was a latte fanatic before all of this so it’s been really hard not to guzzle down all of Dunkin’s seasonal drinks. Not only is this drink is so fun and bright, it’s delicious. I allowed myself only a few sips of it before I gave it to Dylan to try since he is my designated drinker this pregnancy, but I cherished those few sips.
